Perforacije Festival We know that art is not a matter of taste. We believe there should be more than one chance. We think working conditions can always be better. We experienced that if there is a problem it is usually within the system. We like art and we also like orange.

The Perforations Festival takes place annually in three Croatian cities; Zagreb, Rijeka and Dubrovnik and presents a range of Balkans artists working in performance art, theater, and dance, whose diverse approaches to art-making blurs the borders between these genres. While their work touches upon issues of identity (public, political, religious, ecological), of borders redefinition and space, of a collective past, and of personal histories, most of all their work talks about the present.

Perforacije otvaraju i zatvaraju festival “Prelet” Slovenskog mladinskog gledališča, koji se održava od 24. – 31. 5. 2012. godine po šesti put. U Ljubljanu tako prvi put odlazi projekt “Noć performansa”, koji je do sada gostovao već u Francuskoj, Makedoniji i Srbiji, a nakon Slovenije odlazi i u SAD na prestižni festival TBA u Portlandu. Noć performansa u Ljubljani čine Vlasta Delimar, Petra Kovaćić i Željko Zorica. Posebnu ulogu ima performans / instalacija Željka Zorice, “KroaTisch Slowenische Freundschaft: Patria”, kao dio čitave serije performansa o raznim međudržavnim prijateljstvima, jer će jestiva instalacija koju će Zorica pripremiti ujedno biti i gozba za otvorenje sve posjetitelje festivala Prelet.

Perforations festival are co-producing the opening and closing of the international festival “Overflight” which is organized for the sixth time by Slovenian Youth Theater in Ljubljana from May 24 – 31, 2012. Ljubljana will for the first time host the “Night of Performances” project which already toured to France, Serbia and Macedonia, and is going to the prestigious TBA festival in Portland in the US after Ljubljana. The program of “Night of Performances” in Ljubljana includes the Croatian artists Vlasta Delimar, Petra Kovačić and Željko Zorica. A special role is given to the performance / installation titled “KroaTisch-Slowenische Freundschaft: Patria” by Željko Zorica, because the edible food installation that he will create as part of his series of projects dedicated to bilateral state friendships will also be served as food for the celebratory festival opening.
