Dolazite iz svijeta pokreta, a odlučili ste se na instalaciju. Što je uzrokovalo promjenu medija?

Svijet pokreta je moja domena, ali područje izražavanja umjetnika vidim kao puno šire. U nastanku nekog umjetničkog djela, opusa, vjerujem da si treba dati na slobodi da neka tema zadobije svoju bit.

Instalacijom zamjenjujete uloge plesač – gledatelj. Koja je motivacija takovog postupka?

Način gledanja na stvari je nešto što me zanima u stvaranju, koji su sve kutovi gledanja na isto. U suvremenom plesu danas isprepliću se koncepti, polja i načini gledanja. Ono što je meni zanimljivo je što sve može potaknuti razmišljanje ili pokrenuti tijelo, izvođača ili konkretno gledatelja i na koji način.

U kojem su odnosu Summer Lab u Montpellieru, ono što ste tamo vidjeli / doživjeli  i ono što bi posjetilac trebao vidjeti / pitati se / naći  u ili putem vaše instalacije?

Nisam znala što me očekuje u Montpellieru. Bezobzira na to što je program bio naguran, puno stvari za koje sam već znala, čula sam kako se o njima može drugačije govoriti. Najviše me zaintrigirala ta svijest o  prirodi da je i ona kapital, da se puno toga gleda kroz profit i interes, ali i da na kraju bi ipak trebali paziti na nju, što je u drugom planu. Koliki je kapitalizam veliki mehanizam i kako se na kraju sve vrti oko novca, i da smo neminovno svi upleteni u to, pa i sama priroda. Pitanje koje prožima moja instalacija je da li nam se dešava neka obrnuta evolucija, da smo toliko svjesni stvari, ali ipak da je interes jači od svega. Vjerujem da to nije samo pitanje ekologije, nego i pitanje drugih područja ljudskog djelovanja i tiče se svakoga od nas.

You are arriving  from the world of motion, yet you have decided for an  installation. What caused the change of the media?
The world of movement is my domain, but the range of expression as an artist I see a lot broader. In the emergence of a work of art, an opus, I believe one should be given the freedom to let the theme gain its essence.

Installation reverses the roles the dancer – the viewer. What is the motivation of such a procedure?
The way of looking at things is something that I’m interested in creating, which are all these viewing angles of the looking at the same. In contemporary dance today intertwine concepts, fields, and ways of seeing. What I find interesting is what can stimulate thinking and start the body, the performer or in particular the viewer and in what way.

In which relation are the Summer Lab in Montpellier, what you have seen / experienced there and what a visitor should see / wonder / find in or through your installation?
I did not know what was expecting me in Montpellier. Regardless of that the program was crowded, that a lot of things I already knew, I have heard that about them one can talk in a different manner. I was intrigued the most by the awareness of the nature and that it is the capital, that many things are seen through the profit and interest, but in the end one should still keep an eye on it, what is pushed into the background. How large is the mechanism of capitalism and how in the end everything revolves around money, and that we are inevitably involved in all this, and even the nature itself. The question that permeates my installation is whether we are doing some reverse evolution, that we are so aware of things, yet that interest is stronger than anything else. I believe that this is not just a question of ecology, but also the question of other areas of human activity and concerns each of us.
